How to create a realistic light n what is the settings?

Sorry, I'm just learned about 3D Max, especially in Vray..
Could you tell me how to create a realistic light n what is the settings. Here the image sample..

You see the light, right? How to make it so real and shine like that? Is it has any special settings?

Thx

When trying to achieve realism its always best to mimc how it happens in real life. You might start out making your scene to real world scale, making your materials physically real so your glazing for example has the correct IOR, etc. From there a vray sun with real world units and using a LWF with a vrayphsysical camera can be a good way to get there. You can use physically real IES lights for your artificials which you can find .ies files from light manufacturers online. To get the "shine" on the artificial lights I would probably just do it in post-pro.

Personally I don't work to the kind of realism that some others might because in architecture it doesn't necessarily have to look completely real it just has to convey your ideas and concepts in an understandle way, but thats the sort of way I work at least.
